Commercial Tenant Improvement
Construction Completed 2012
Los Angeles, CA

After many travels around the world to visit pub after pub, the client desired a dark, quaint English pub-like atmosphere with low ceilings and dark wood surround. In order to accommodate groups from two to two hundred, the center of the space expands two stories in height to connect the game room, corner lounge, and second story seating areas. Reused doors, benches, and reclaimed stained glass windows scatter the space and add an additional level of detail. Tucked away in the center of the space, an intimate gathering room known as The Snug features iridescent gold owl wallpaper surrounding a large table and lounge seating, with views to the adjacent barrel room used for aging brews in old whiskey and wine barrels.
