Construction Completed 2008
Los Angeles, CA
When nominated as City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #166, the accessory structure at 1417 Kellam Avenue in Angelino Heights was considered to be the best remaining example of a Victorian-era carriage house in the city. Our mandate was to maintain as much historic fabric as possible while updating the interiors of the carriage house to meet contemporary standards of live-ability. As part of the project, the backyard was completely remodeled to accommodate a new pool and to create a new series of decks.
