Sam joined our team in 2024 after earning his M.Arch from UCLA. He earned his undergrad degree from University of Cincinnati’s DAAP where he worked several co-op semesters in Cincinnati, Chicago, and Denver. He then returned to Chicago to work for Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), focusing on workplace and adaptive reuse housing projects, including the Chicago Tribune Tower Renovation and a 1920’s beaux arts hotel.
With a keen attention to detail, Sam brings an intellectual curiosity to every project to find the right balance between experiential, aesthetic, and functional articulation. He’s able to challenge conventional and complacent building systems, making him a great problem solver for a variety of projects.
