Custom door and salvaged brass hardware at our Hollywood Hills residence

We’ve always called this house Blue Betty - a tribute to the original 1950’s house, once defined by its iconic bright blue door and timeless brass details.

Fortunately, the original hardware was able to be salvaged and restored, creating an authentic and bespoke moment that honors the home’s history while bringing new life to its next chapter.

This area was a significant engineering effort to reshape the hillside, allowing us to expand the footprint of the home. Instead of one large retaining wall, the yard was terraced creating a tucked-away spot that makes you feel like you’re above it all (literally).
