Blake Office

Project Description

The former industrial textile warehouse was empty except for two small bathrooms and two small offices built into the corner of the building. The tenant improvement process added natural light via new skylights and a new storefront glazing system, a new entry and landscaping, and a new kitchenette to the structure. The building now houses an architect's office and functions as a gallery and laboratory for sustainable technologies; housing rooftop solar panels integrated into a new “cool roof”, a greywater recycling system, and solatubes to provide ambient light.
