This new residence is built on an R2 lot located on a hilltop in the central south of Hancock Park. The design, a spec house intended to appeal to young, urban families, features a two-story living room opening through large sliding doors to a backyard and pool.

The large kitchen and family room extend along the pool and embrace an outdoor gathering area. The first floor utilizes an open plan configuration to emphasize integration of interior and exterior spaces. The living spaces surround a grand central stair washed with light from a skylight above.
