Eagle Rock 17 offers seventeen single family homes with in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles. This site fronts a major street; therefore, the main challenge was how to provide comfortable single-family homes while right next to a busy road. The project utilizes commercial space along the sidewalk to act as a buffer space that provides the units with privacy and separation from the street. The layout of the units is configured in a way that allows for proper clearance for the driveway. This ends up providing significant space between most of the units, which is not often found with small lot subdivisions.
