Horizon House is one of two projects being permitted in Malibu. The emphasis on its horizontal planes mimics the horizon in the distance. The top floor features the main living space, kitchen, and large deck that overlooks the ocean. Off the deck is a bridge to lap pool located at the rear of the house.
The white exterior is a contrast to its neighbor, Vertical House, which has a dark exterior scheme.
